Terms of Sale

These terms apply to machines manufactured and supplied by PARAS EXPORTS, G.T. Road, near Guru Nanak Kanda, Batala, District Gurdaspur, Punjab 143505, India.
1. Prices and quotations
Prices shown on this website are indicative starting prices, ex-works Batala, exclusive of GST and freight. They are not an offer to sell at that price. The binding price is the one stated on the proforma invoice we issue against your specific requirement. Prices are subject to change without notice, and a quotation is valid for 15 days from its date unless stated otherwise.
2. Placing an order
Placing an order through the cart on this website is an offer to purchase. It does not create a contract of sale and no amount is charged at that point. An order becomes binding only when we issue a proforma invoice and you confirm it in writing, and the agreed advance has been received.
3. Payment
Payment is by bank transfer against our proforma invoice. Standard terms are an advance on order confirmation with the balance before despatch, unless different terms are agreed in writing. Goods remain the property of PARAS EXPORTS until payment is received in full. We do not collect card or online payment details on this website.
4. Delivery
Delivery periods given are estimates in working days from receipt of the advance and confirmation of specification. Machines are supplied ex-works Batala unless otherwise agreed. Where we arrange transport, it is charged at actuals and the goods travel at the buyer's risk from the point of loading. We are not liable for delays caused by transport, weather, strikes, power failure or other causes outside our control.
5. Specification
We manufacture to order and reserve the right to make design improvements that do not reduce the performance of the machine. Weights, dimensions and capacities in our literature are nominal. Where a machine is built to a buyer's drawing or specification, the buyer is responsible for the accuracy of that specification.
6. Warranty
Machines carry a warranty against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from the date of despatch. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective part at our works. It does not cover normal wear, consumables, electrical items, damage from misuse, incorrect installation, inadequate foundation, overloading, poor lubrication, unauthorised modification or repair by others. Freight on warranty parts is to the buyer's account.
7. Installation
Foundation drawings and installation guidance are supplied with every machine. Site preparation, unloading, electrical connection and foundation work are the buyer's responsibility unless separately agreed.
8. Liability
Our liability in respect of any machine is limited to the invoice value of that machine. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, profit or contracts.
9. Export orders
Export orders are quoted FOB or CIF as agreed. The buyer is responsible for import duties, clearance and local compliance in the destination country.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Gurdaspur, Punjab.
