Baling Press

Hydraulic baling presses, vertical and triple action

Vertical balers for paper, cardboard, PET and cans, and horizontal triple action machines for scrap metal. Loose waste is mostly air — baling cuts the volume so a load carries the material instead of the space around it.

What goes in

Materials baled

  • Waste paper
  • Cardboard
  • PET bottles
  • Aluminium and tin cans
  • Plastic film
  • Loose steel scrap
  • Turnings and offcuts
  • Textile waste

Freight is the payback

You pay to move volume, not weight. Baling multiplies what a truck carries, and on a regular route that is the whole business case.

A clear yard

Stacked bales take a fraction of the space loose material does, and they do not blow around.

A better price

Dense, uniform bales grade better and weigh in cleaner than loose material tipped off a trailer.

Seen before it ships

You are welcome at Batala to see your machine running before dispatch, with a written inspection and dispatch certificate.

Delivered across India

We arrange transport from Batala to your site, so you are not chasing a transporter yourself.

One year warranty

Covered against technical fault for a full year from delivery, on every machine we supply.

Support that answers

Most questions are settled the same day over a video call with someone who knows the machine.

Freight and site visits are charged at actual. Installation is not included in the machine price and can be arranged on request.

Before you enquire

Baling press questions

Vertical or horizontal baler?
A vertical baler is loaded from the front and takes little floor space, which suits a shop, godown or collection point handling paper, cardboard, PET or cans. A horizontal triple action machine is a processing plant — it takes loose scrap metal continuously and turns out dense bales. Different scale, different money.
What does triple action mean?
Three cylinders compress the charge on three axes instead of one, so the bale comes out dense and square on every side. On scrap metal that density is what the buyer pays for and what makes the freight economic.
What bale weight will I get?
On the vertical machines, roughly 80 kg from the 40 tonne and 150 kg from the 60 tonne on waste paper. Denser material gives heavier bales, light plastic gives lighter ones.
Why bale at all?
Loose scrap and waste is mostly air, and you pay to transport that air. A bale cuts the volume several times over, so a load carries far more material and the yard stays clear.
What supply does it need?
Three phase. The vertical machines run 11 and 15 kW; the horizontal triple action machines run 22 to 30 kW.
