The range

Three models

The PAHC52 covers quarter inch to two inch on two wire hose, which is what a general workshop handles day to day. The PAHC53 is the same range with more force for four wire. The PAHC54 goes to four inch and takes 4SP and 6SP, for heavy equipment and industrial assemblies.

Hose preparation

Hose skiving machines

A crimper is only half the job. Skive-type ferrules need the cover stripped back before crimping, and doing it by knife is slow and inconsistent. Two machines — a hand skiver for the bench or the van, and a motorised one for continuous work.

Why hose has to be skived

A crimped fitting has to grip the steel wire reinforcement, not the rubber cover. On skive-type ferrules the cover has to come off first, or the rubber sits between the ferrule and the wire and the joint lets go under pressure.

Internal and external

External skiving takes the outer cover off so the ferrule bites the wire. Internal skiving removes inner rubber where the fitting stem goes in, on the larger and multi-spiral hoses. Both machines do both.

Manual or motorised

The hand skiver mounts in a vice, costs little and suits occasional work or a service van. The motorised machine with foot pedal frees both hands to guide the hose, and is the one to take if you are making assemblies all day.

Where they work

Who buys them

Anywhere hydraulic hose fails and downtime costs more than the hose. A crimper turns a two day wait into a twenty minute repair.

  • Hydraulic hose assembly
  • Excavator and JCB hose repair
  • Tractor and farm equipment
  • Truck and trailer workshops
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Hose trading and distribution
  • Mining and drilling equipment

Repair in minutes

Cut, fit and crimp on the bench. A machine down for a burst hose is running again the same shift.

One machine, full range

Quarter inch to two inch on the same crimper, so one purchase covers almost everything a workshop sees.

Sell assemblies, not parts

Hose and fittings bought in, finished assemblies sold out. For a hose trader that is where the margin is.

Dies to your sizes

Standard set supplied, extra dies made to the sizes you actually work with.

Delivered across India

We arrange transport from Batala to your site, so you are not chasing a transporter yourself.

One year warranty

Covered against technical fault for a full year from delivery, on every machine we supply.

Support that answers

Most questions are settled the same day over a video call with someone who knows the machine.

Freight and site visits are charged at actual. Hose and fittings are not supplied with the machine.

Hose crimping questions

What hose sizes can it crimp?
The PAHC52 and PAHC53 cover six to fifty-one millimetres, quarter inch to two inch, which is the range a general workshop or hose shop handles day to day. The PAHC54 goes from six to a hundred and two millimetres, quarter inch to four inch, and takes 4SP and 6SP hose.
Do dies come with the machine?
Yes, and this is worth checking against other quotations. Twelve die sets come with the PAHC52 and fifteen with the PAHC54, included in the price. Dies bought separately can add a significant amount to a crimper, so compare the full delivered cost rather than the machine alone.
Which of the three models do I need?
The PAHC52 is the general workshop machine — two inch, two wire, single phase supply. Take the PAHC53 if you build four wire assemblies in the same size range and want the extra force. The PAHC54 is a different class again: four inch, 2100 tonne, a 185 mm opening and a 220 litre oil tank for continuous production.
Can I use it for hose trading rather than my own repairs?
Yes, and many buyers do. A crimper turns bought hose and fittings into finished assemblies you can sell, which is usually where the margin sits.
Do I need a skiving machine as well as a crimper?
If you use skive-type ferrules, yes. The cover has to come off so the ferrule grips the wire reinforcement rather than the rubber. Non-skive ferrules avoid it, but most larger and multi-spiral hoses still need skiving. If you are setting up a hose shop, budget for both from the start.
What supply does it need?
The PAHC52 runs on 230 V single phase with a 3 kW motor, so it needs no special connection. The PAHC53 takes 220 or 440 V, and the PAHC54 220 or 380 V with a 4 to 5.5 kW motor. The automatic skiver runs on 220 or 380 V.
