Iron Cutting
Ironworker and iron cutting machines, 36 to 120 tonne
One frame carrying five stations — punching, flat bar shearing, angle cutting, round and square bar cutting, and notching. Three ironworker sizes plus a dedicated 120 tonne iron cutter, covering light grill work through to heavy structural sections.

The range
Three capacities
Size is set by the thickest section you cut and the largest hole you punch, not by the lightest.
Some figures for this machine are confirmed against the specific model at order stage and are not published here. Ask for the full specification sheet and we will send it the same day.

Heavy shearing
Iron cutter machine, QA32-14B
A dedicated heavy cutter rather than a multi-station ironworker. 120 tonne of shear strength through a 5.5 kW motor, taking flat up to 310 × 14 mm, angle to 140 × 140 × 14 mm and channel to GB180. Where the QA34 range is built for variety, this one is built for section size.

Hydraulic
Hydraulic iron cutting machines, 60 tonne
Built in Batala rather than imported, and specified the way the trade here actually asks for it. The 60 tonne machine cuts 3 and 4 inch channel, 4 inch angle, 40 mm round and 14 inch flat, and punches round and D holes on the same frame. Double action models drive two stations at once from separate cylinders, so cutting and punching run together.

Hydraulic or mechanical?
Hydraulic gives full force anywhere in the stroke and starts the cut gently, which suits thick channel and angle. Mechanical is faster and cheaper for lighter repeat work.
Double side punching
Cutting dies on one side of the H frame, punching dies on the other, with a further die station on the side for bending, notching or shearing. One operator works a mixed batch without changing setup.
Pedestal punch, ghoda type
A dedicated single-station punch for hole work alone. Cheaper than a full cutter and simpler for a shop that mainly punches, in round and D shapes.
What it does
Five stations, one machine
Punching
Round, square, oval and slotted holes through plate, flat bar and angle. Dies change quickly, so one machine covers a shop's whole hole range.
Flat bar and plate shearing
Straight cuts in flat bar and plate with an adjustable hold-down, so the cut stays square and the edge stays clean.
Angle cutting
Angle iron cut square or mitred, with a diamond blade that keeps material loss and distortion low.
Round and square bar cutting
Multiple hole sizes in the bar shear so one station covers the common rebar and bar sections.
Notching
Rectangular notches in plate and angle for joints and corners, with gauging stops for repeat work.
